Don Garzia de Medici

  Clothing inspired by burial suit of Don Garzia de Medici is made according to the patterns published by J.Arnold (Patterns of fashion 1, pg.53-54). Extant garment is in Palazzo Pitti (Florence) collection. Brocade doublet buttoned in front is stuffed. Cutted brocade trunkhose are fastened to the doublet by sateen laces with hand made brass tips. Separated ruffs are based on extant pieces from Cesky Krumlov.
