Brocade jaquette

 

 German garment from the beginning of 15th century is based on re-edition of Liber de moribus hominum et officiis nobilium sive super ludum scaccorum" from Jacopo de Cessolis (1408).

   The clothing has following layers - the jaquette, an inner doublet, a woolen hose, a linen shirt and an underwear. Next pages show the back view, the details of the arm decoration and accessories.
